Mohamed Salah makes a shocking assertion about the "last six months" of his Liverpool deal.

"Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has dropped a bombshell surrounding his future at Anfield, sparking widespread speculation among Reds fans. In a shocking revelation, the Egyptian forward has hinted that the next six months could be crucial in determining his long-term commitment to the Merseyside club.

With Salah's current contract set to expire in 2025, the 31-year-old's comments have sent shockwaves through the football world, leaving many wondering what the future holds for one of the Premier League's most prolific goal-scorers."

In the last six months of his contract, he is not the only important Liverpool player who can speak to international teams; Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold can also do so.

Real Madrid has been strongly connected to Alexander-Arnold for a number of months, but the European champions' £15 million approach was recently rejected.

Saudi Arabia is very interested in Salah during the summer transfer window of 2023, although he is not being linked to any clubs.

Although it would be foolish of Liverpool to let the Egyptian forward go for free, that is the course we are taking.

Salah stated in an unexpected interview with Patrick Davidson of Sky Sports that "it's the last six months" of his stay at Anfield as of right now. "Yes, so far," the 32-year-old said. "This is my final six months at Liverpool." Nothing has changed there. We are a long way from making any headway. Thus, we must simply wait and observe.

Salah went on: "I wonder what you would like to see in the future if this is the last six months. Would you like to look back and say that the contract caused me anxiety or worry?

Or are you just saying that I had a fantastic season? That's my mental image. When I start to get sidetracked, I just remind myself that I want to look back and think that this season was incredible.

What I want to do is that. With a second Premier League title desperately needed, Salah hopes to round off his stay at Liverpool with even greater triumph. "I still think the team should have a trophy," he stated.

Half of the team, including Robbo [Andy Robertson], Trent, Virgil, Alisson, and myself, are still on the team. We must take home another trophy before we all depart.

Given how crucial Salah is to Arne Slot's team, it is shocking that no movement has been made on a new contract.

The former Chelsea forward has an absurd 20 goals and 17 assists in 26 games this season.
