WHO WILL REIGN SUPREME? 2024/25 FA Cup Fourth Round Draw

Even if the FA Cup third round this year wasn't particularly exciting, it only makes the upcoming glut of games more competitive.

Manchester City scored eight goals in a row against Salford City at home, while Liverpool and Chelsea also defeated League Two opponents. After a nervous, goalless first ninety minutes, Tottenham Hotspur finally defeated non-league Tamworth with three goals in extra time.

But Championship underdogs Plymouth Argyle defeated top-tier Brentford. They will now face Premier League leaders Liverpool in the fourth round, according to Arne Slot.

Despite playing with ten men for over an hour, Arsenal defeated Manchester United on penalties in the thrilling third-round match to advance to the next month's matchup with Leicester City.

When is the fourth round of the FA Cup?

Supporters of the oldest cup competition in England will have to wait until February for the next round. There will be sixteen fourth-round matches spread out across the weekend of Saturday, February 8.

It's possible that ties will be set from that Thursday until Monday, much like in the third round. All ties will be ended on the day they started because the idea of replays has been relegated to the domain of away goals and the back-pass rule.

Will VAR be used in the FA Cup fourth round in 2024–2025?
