Chelsea Open Talks for 134-Goal Striker as Three Serie A Forwards Emerge on Shortlist – Reports

The latest information on Dusan Vlahovic’s possible move to Chelsea has been released. The Blues are also interested in two other attacking studs from Serie A. Vlahovic is keen to join the Premier League.

In January 2022, Vlahovic earned a £66.6 million transfer to Juventus after scoring 49 goals in 108 games for Fiorentina. The Bianconeri outbid Arsenal for his services.

The striker has since scored 62 goals in 153 games for Juventus, including the game-winning goal in the Coppa Italia final in 2024.

Some at Juventus believe Vlahovic has somewhat underperformed despite that record. Although the two parties have not been able to agree on the financial terms of an extension, his contract expires in June.

This implies that the Serbian international may depart Juventus either on a free transfer the following summer or in a January deal at a reduced cost.

According to a TBR update, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are among the top teams vlahovic is interested in signing. He has always desired to play in the Premier League.

Chelsea and Tottenham are involved because Vlahovic has “told his representatives to explore options in England.”

“Once again, his people are getting in touch with possible landing spots – intermediaries have spoken to Chelsea and Tottenham,” journalist Graeme Bailey stated. He won’t get a “pay day” in England, so a lot will rely on whether he wants one.

He would undoubtedly receive a big wage, but it would be insignificant in comparison to what he could make in Saudi Arabia; if he relocated to the Middle East, his pay would just surpass his current Juventus salary.

However, Vlahovic is only 25. Even though he is succeeding at Juventus, he hasn’t impressed anyone, and it seems like he still has unresolved business at this stage of his career.

Vlahovic, who has scored 134 goals in 310 games, is attracting a lot of interest from players throughout Europe.

According to the article, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are “weighing up offers,” while Manchester United and Newcastle United are “admirers.”

The current situation suggests that Vlahovic will likely finish out his contract before leaving for free in the summer.

Chelsea may have made a brilliant move by acquiring the player for nothing. He is physically strong enough to hold off Premier League defenders and has top-tier experience.

Because of his strong left foot, which he exploits to finish with remarkable ease, Vlahovic has previously been compared to Erling Haaland.

It’s interesting to note that, despite recent rumours about another Juventus star in Kenan Yildiz and Santiago Castro of Bologna, Vlahovic is not the only Serie A attacker Chelsea is interested in.

Chelsea is getting ready for significant striker changes. In fact, it was revealed on Friday that they had also dispatched scouts to observe Castro of Bologna play this season.

The 21-year-old’s ascent has impressed Chelsea, who are considering adding him to their center-forward lineup in the future. In addition, the Blues are vying with Arsenal for Kenan Yildiz, a teammate of Vlahovic’s from Juventus.

The playmaker is negotiating a contract with Juventus, but the amount of money being offered has left his father/agent unimpressed.

Chelsea and Arsenal now have hope that a spectacular deal may be reached in 2026 as a result of this.

Juve’s most valuable asset, Yildiz, will cost between €80 and €90 million, or up to £78 million. In January, Enzo Maresca’s team might need a new striker due to reports Tyrique George and Marc Guiu might leave.

He allegedly wants to return to Sunderland on loan because he is annoyed at being benched.

In August, he joined the Black Cats, however he only made three appearances before being called up due to Liam Delap’s hamstring injury.

Guiu, 19, is at a pivotal point in his career and would prefer to play every week, which is much more likely at Sunderland.

Although George is usually thought of as a left winger, he has started the season chosen at center-forward instead of Guiu.

George is attempting to go on a permanent basis in January in order to be a sure starter somewhere else, even though he is getting good game time.

Despite interest from Premier League and Champions League clubs, Chelsea is prepared to “green light” George’s sale.
