Man Utd Prepare Record-Breaking Offer for ‘Phenomenal’ Talent Tipped to Win Ballon d’Or

According to the Italian media, Manchester United is prepared to make Kenan Yildiz the most expensive Turkish player in history.

Giuseppe Rossi, Alessandro Del Piero, and Fabio Capello’s remarks highlight why Ruben Amorim and Christopher Vivell are so eager to bring the attacker to Old Trafford.

One of the greatest young players in the world, Yildiz has drawn interest from several elite teams, including Manchester United, who want to place in the top four of the Premier League table, due to his performances for Juventus this season.

In eight games in all competitions, the 20-year-old Turkey international has played as a second striker for Juventus, tallying two goals and dishing out four assists.

Yildiz, who scored two goals in Saturday’s 6-1 victory over Bulgaria in a 2026 World Cup qualifying match, scored 12 goals and contributed nine assists in 52 games for Juventus during the 2024–2025 season.

According to Radio Radio in Italy, Arsenal is interested in a trade with Juventus for Yildiz, although Chelsea’s attempt to acquire the Turkish player was already turned down.

The Italian media also claims that Man Utd is committed to signing Yildiz, with TuttoJuve stating that the Red Devils are “ready to offer €90million (£78.3m, $104.6m)”.

The current record is held by Arda Turan, who joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid in 2015 for an initial €34 million (£29.6 million, $39.5 million), making Yildiz the most expensive Turkish football player in history.

According to Juventus-focused news site TuttoJuve, man Utd views Yildiz as “a key player to strengthen their attacking line,” with director of recruitment Christopher Vivell and manager Amorim considering the striker “a strategic investment.”

CaughtOffSide also report that Man Utd has made Yildiz “their big priority for summer 2026.” This report supports that assertion. Arsenal and Chelsea are apparently prepared to outbid Manchester United for the Turkish jewel.

Do you think Juventus can allow Man Utd to buy Kenan Yildiz from them?

Although it would be astronomical to pay €90 million (£78.3 million, $104.6 million) for a 20-year-old, Juventus is determined not to let Yildiz go.

The Bianconeri are negotiating a new deal for the 20-year-old Turkish star because they recognise that he is a generational potential.

“I think it’s more of a pressing issue than a matter of urgency because it’s already a very long contract – but above all, Juventus’ desire to give Yildiz what he deserves financially, also to get ahead of the transfer window a little,” reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano stated on his YouTube channel on October 1st.

In order to prevent surprises, there is sometimes a rush to renew contracts since they must be completed on time.

“In this instance, I think Juventus wants to prevent themselves from being in a position where Yildiz might accept a sizable offer from overseas and decide, ‘Okay, but my salary is low, I’d rather go somewhere else.'”

In addition to his efforts thus far, Yildiz has also demonstrated a strong affinity for Juventus during the summer.

“I can guarantee you that Yildiz could have made the move to the Premier League at the beginning of the transfer window if he had desired to do so.

Yildiz is a wonderful talent, so it’s fair to see the top clubs interested in him. Chelsea has always been highly keen, and the Premier League is still interested.

“However, as I mentioned, Juventus is optimistic and working on a renewal; they want to find a solution as quickly as possible to avoid any further temptation for a champion like Kenan Yildiz.”

On October 6, transfer journalist Graeme Bailey told TBR: “Damien Comolli made a big impact even though he only arrived in the summer.”

He successfully captured Jonathan David and Lois Openda, but he is focussing on retaining their best players, and Yildiz is the most crucial of them all.

What commentators and former players have been saying about Yildiz further highlights Juventus’ resolve to keep him at any costs. Giuseppe Rossi, a former forward for Manchester United, has predicted that Yildiz will win the Ballon d’Or in the future.

On October 1, Rossi told TuttoMercatoWeb: “A fantastic Yildiz. With 100 Champions League appearances, the 20-year-old Turk plays like a 30-year-old and is a phenomenon who will eventually win a Ballon d’Or.

His ability to try a magnificent play for the team’s benefit rather than just for the plaudits is why I like him so much. “Juventus is like the Lamine Yamal of the Bianconeri in terms of impact; he’s Yildiz plus ten.”

Fabio Capello, the former manager of Juventus and England, has likened Yildiz to Alessandro Del Piero.

“For what he does when he plays, for the position he takes up, and where he performs best,” Capello said in September in La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Even though we are obviously discussing a different time period and a different setting, you can picture Del Piero on the pitch once more with the Turk.”

Alex had excellent skills, such as the ability to dribble, but he lacked Yildiz’s pace, both with and without the ball. Even when shooting from outside the box, they are equally proficient. They are both characterised by charisma. Del Piero always had so much of it.

Even though Yildiz is just getting started, he is already demonstrating that he has a lot. He is able to distinguish himself for both club and nation because of this.

They are comparable in terms of creativity, however it must be acknowledged that creativity is necessary but insufficient. It also needs to be matched with quality.

We are all aware of Del Piero’s professional accomplishments. Yildiz is only getting started. They both have the ability to strike with either foot, which is another quality we shouldn’t undervalue.

Being two-footed is a valuable skill that only players with that little something extra have in today’s game and in Del Piero’s football.

“While Yildiz currently seems more inclined towards dribbling and occasionally tends to play more individually and personalisedly, Del Piero also had great vision.”

Even though these are distinct eras and teams, they both exhibit the quality of “Juventinity.” Today’s Juventus has a symbolic player in Yildiz.

The legendary player for Juventus and Italy, Del Piero, told La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Based on my observations thus far, he doesn’t require guidance.”

He’s a serious youngster who enjoys working hard and aspires to achieve and become a symbol of this club. “I think he’s doing it in the best way possible,” he said.

There will undoubtedly be challenging periods, and he will need to depend on the proper people throughout those times.

“I only hope he’s surrounded by the right people who can tell him what he needs to hear when he needs it.”
