Martin Ødegaard Reveals New Recovery Technique in Bid to Boost Arsenal Injury Comeback

Martin Odegaard has disclosed the amazing method he is using in an effort to accelerate his injury recovery.

In the home victory over Nottingham Forest, the Arsenal captain worsened a shoulder injury he had sustained against Leeds earlier in the season.

However, Odegaard has been sidelined since the beginning of October due to a knee injury he acquired against West Ham.

Odegaard is not anticipated to play again until after the November international break, having only played 30 minutes in the team’s 2-0 victory over West Ham at the beginning of October.

After colliding with Hammers winger Crysencio Summerville, the Arsenal captain sustained an MCL injury to his left knee.

Odegaard unintentionally created history in the process by becoming the first player to be substituted before halftime in three straight English Premier League games.

Head coach Mikel Arteta commented on the injury at the time, saying, “We haven’t had him since the start of the season for one reason or the other.” the shoulder twice, followed by this injury.

He is undoubtedly our captain and a player who offers us a whole new dimension with his abilities, particularly in attacking, but we’ll have to wait and see how serious that injury is before we can find a solution.”

Odegaard gave an update on his recuperation prior to the Gunners’ most recent Champions League victory over Atletico Madrid, with the goal of making a comeback.

“Rehab is proceeding smoothly. Odegaard wrote in his captain’s notes for the pre-match schedule, “I had a few days off after the West Ham game because I couldn’t do much work and had to rest my knee anyway, so I went to Norway.”

“But it’s busy days right now because I’ve been back for a week and am working every day to maintain my fitness and attempt to heal the injury.

Recovery requires a lot of effort and long days, but that’s what you want, and so far, I think things are going well.”

Since then, the Gunners captain has disclosed the amazing method he used to hasten his recuperation. “It’s going well and I’m progressing a lot,” Odegaard began.

“This week, I’ve been running on the anti-gravity machine and moving around more. It’s challenging, but it’s good to see improvement; it boosts your motivation.”

Arsenal’s medical and rehabilitation facility at its London Colney training facility has several anti-gravity treadmills.

Anti-gravity treadmills allow patients to move painlessly while regaining and improving muscle strength, range of motion, balance, function, and fitness through the use of a pressurised air chamber that uniformly reduces gravitational stress and body weight in precise 1% increments.

After suffering a knee injury, Odegaard plans to make a comeback at the North London Derby. Before the year’s last international break, Arsenal will play Burnley, Slavia Prague, and Sunderland next month.

After the international break, Arsenal returns to domestic duty with a challenging matchup against rivals Tottenham before taking on Bavarian superpower Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

With just two losses in all competitions this season—a 1-0 loss to Liverpool and a 1-1 draw with Manchester City in September—Arsenal has been virtually unstoppable. The Gunners also made history when they defeated Brighton 2-0 in the EFL Cup.

In fact, Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Brighton extended their winning streak to eight games, making them the only English top-flight side in history to play all six games in a month and win them all without giving up a goal.

After defeating the Seagulls, Arsenal will play fellow Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in the fifth round of the EFL Cup.

Earlier this month, Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 at home thanks to a goal from Eberechi Eze in the first half.
