Here’s Why Federico Chiesa Leaving Liverpool Might Be the Best Move for His Career
One thing generally follows Liverpool’s Carabao Cup night: Federico Chiesa will have a rare opportunity to play significant minutes.
Chiesa, who was formerly considered one of the most promising players in Italian football, was transferred from Fiorentina to Juventus, where he scored 32 goals before seizing the chance to sign with Liverpool last summer.
However, he hasn’t been able to handle it with ease. Italian football fans, who wanted to see Chiesa realise his full potential but are now getting used to him being a benchwarmer in what ought to be his golden years, are frustrated that Chiesa has been confined to such a minor role.
