Striker with 29 goals ‘is set to join next season’ as Man Utd aims to offload duo to generate £63m transfer funds

According to reports from Turkey, "Victor Osimhen will join Manchester United next season," and the Red Devils might aim to offload two players to gather the £63m required for his transfer.

Osimhen was strongly associated with both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain last summer as he sought a way out of Napoli, but neither team could finalize a deal, leading the Nigeria international to instead sign a loan with Galatasaray.

His remarkable goalscoring feats have persisted in Turkey, as Osimhen has accumulated 29 goals and six assists in 34 matches in all competitions.

"Naturally, there are always rumors surrounding me." However, I choose to exist in the present. I am having a good time at the moment. "I am relishing my life here and the club," Osimhen stated last week.

“Hatipoglu, the vice-president of Galatasaray, replied that Osimhen’s statements do not indicate he will depart.” He expressed that Galatasaray will forever hold a special place in his heart, even if he departs under the worst conditions, but he did not indicate that he would be leaving. "We desire for him to remain with us."

However, it is commonly stated that Galatasaray probably will not acquire the 26-year-old on a permanent basis, given that he is drawing attention from various European powerhouses before this summer's transfer window.

A report released earlier this month indicated interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Man Utd, with the prolific striker 'preferring' two possible transfers.

ESPN has been informed by a source that the agreement does not include an option for Galatasaray to secure the transfer permanently, and that Osimhen prefers a transfer to England or the renowned Italian club Juventus.

Manchester United are exploring the market for a new forward this summer since Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have not made the desired impression while leading the attack this season.

TEAMtalk reports that both forwards from the Red Devils may be sold to generate funds for new signings this summer; potential targets include Osimhen, who has a release clause of €75m (£63m) with Napoli.

And the Turkish publication Sportz is also stating that United have already come to an agreement with Osimhen before the summer transfer window.

Türk gazeteci Serdar Ali Çelikler, “Victor Osimhen gelecek sezon Manchester United ile sözleşme imzaladı” dedi.

Red Devils legend Rio Ferdinand identified Osimhen as one of two strikers he would recruit if he was in charge of the United transfer efforts this summer.

He stated: “Osimhen. “I realize, apologies to Napoli and Galatasaray, but if I’m with Man Utd, I’ll ensure Osimhen joins Man Utd next year,” Ferdinand asserted.

"Another player I’d purchase is Cunha." He has made it evident that he wishes to depart, so I would go and acquire Cunha.
