Reports indicate that Liverpool will allow Arne Slot to have the ‘final say’ as Real Madrid looks to exchange Rodrygo for Alexis Mac Allister this summer.  The Reds clinched the Premier League title on Sunday with four games remaining after defeating Tottenham 5-1 in a dominant performance at Anfield.  Liverpool lead their closest competitors, Arsenal, by 15 points – with the Gunners likely to end up as runners-up for the third consecutive season – and now the Reds can focus on their summer objectives.  Slot’s squad received a significant uplift recently when Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk inked new two-year deals after speculation they might depart on free transfers in the summer.  A player who is highly expected to depart is Trent Alexander-Arnold, with numerous reports suggesting he will move to Real Madrid when his contract ends in late June.  Reports from Spain suggest that Real Madrid may be poised to sign another Liverpool star, as Defensa Central stat...

How Man Utd internally responded to the Quenda takeover while the Red Devils prepare for a star that ‘half of Europe desires’

Chelsea's takeover of the agreement for Sporting CP winger Geovany Quenda surprised Manchester United, as stated by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.

Reports surfaced overnight indicating that the Blues had outmaneuvered the Red Devils and various other clubs across Europe to secure the 17-year-old.

Chelsea have allegedly reached an agreement to acquire Quenda in a deal valued at up to £40m in 2026, with the Portuguese prospect set to spend the next season at Sporting.

Following his debut with the first team at Sporting last season under Ruben Amorim, various reports anticipated that Man Utd would formalize their interest in the young player during the summer.

Nonetheless, Chelsea's covert approach for Sporting remained undisclosed, and Romano has indicated that the transfer has taken Man Utd off guard.

Romano informed GiveMeSport: “Honestly, it was a significant surprise in the industry, not only for Man United, but for several clubs interested in and tracking the player as well.”

"They didn’t anticipate Chelsea being that quick." Alright, the interest might be a factor, but there were no leaks regarding this story, and Chelsea has been extremely quick and effective in maintaining confidentiality.

"It was certainly a major surprise [at Manchester United]."

Caught Offside reports that Manchester United may shift their focus to Southampton forward Tyler Dibling, with the Red Devils "among numerous clubs considering the possible €40m transfer."

The report states that the Saints’ prodigy 'is dissatisfied with his situation at Southampton and wishes to depart this summer, making several top clubs take notice' and 'Chelsea, Newcastle, and West Ham have also expressed interest in Dibling'.

And Caught Offside persisted:
It's quite difficult to envision Dibling remaining at Southampton for much longer, as the club has been unsuccessful in convincing the player to engage in discussions regarding a new contract.

The gifted teen probably realizes that he can perform at a much higher standard than this, and it will be exciting to observe where he goes next.

"United will certainly be eager to revamp their team this summer, and a promising young attacking midfielder like this could be a perfect beginning for Ruben Amorim."

Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg recently disclosed that "half of Europe is pursuing the 18-year-old superstar from Southampton," while also confirming that Bundesliga club RB Leipzig is interested in Dibling.
