Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo won the Manager of the Month award, while Alexander Isak of Newcastle United was named the Premier League's Player of the Month for December 2024.
After a stellar December in which he scored in all six of Newcastle's games and amassed eight goals and two assists in only six games, Isak wins the award for the first time in his career.
He started that run with a goal and an assist in a 3–3 draw with Liverpool, and he finished it off by scoring against Manchester United to end 2024.
Mohamed Salah of Liverpool, who broke the Premier League record for the most goal involvements in a single calendar month with his return of seven goals and seven assists, beat off competition from Isak in the poll.
He joins Erling Haaland, Cole Palmer, Chris Wood, and Salah as the prize's fifth different winner this year.
Nuno receives the managerial award in the meanwhile, having guided Forest to a league-high 15 points in December.
Forest recovered from a loss to Manchester City with five consecutive wins, and they started 2025 in third place in the rankings, only surpassed by Liverpool and Arsenal.
Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United were all defeated by Forest before the year ended. Nuno has won the title of Manager of the Month twice this season and six times in his Premier League career.
